Chapter Overview

We welcome you to join our Chapter as we build the blueprint that would exemplify our strength and courage. Our strategic plan for the program year is to engage with government leaders and organizations in our community, grow our membership, offer seminars/webinars on industry leading topics, promote CGFM certification, and connect with the students and professors at the local Colleges and Universities.

Chapter Membership

Our chapter includes professionals from federal, state, and local government agencies, higher education institutions, and private-sector accounting and consulting firms that support public financial management.

Strong representation from Mecklenburg County, UNC Greensboro, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army, Internal Revenue Service, and the NC State Board of Elections, along with firms such as KPMG and Deloitte Consulting LLP.

Our History

Welcome to the Charlotte Metro Chapter! We are excited about our journey as a new chapter of AGA. Throughout the year, it is our hope to bring relevant topics that will aid in the success of your career and the growth of the Charlotte Metro Chapter. We have connected with wonderful leaders within AGA that have showered us with unwavering support and encouragement since we received our Charter in February 2024.
